Abstract:
The electron beam welding process specifications were obtained by studying the relationship of surface tension tank assembly precision, weld penetration and morphology. The specifications are: with the virtual focus electron beam welding process, when the virtual focus beam is upper than 30 mA, the seam width of lock bottom portion is 0.7 mm; when the welding beam is 23 mA, welding speed is 1200 mm/min and the weld penetration was 2.4~3.3 mm. The surface tension tank made according to the electron beam welding process specifications passed the assessment of vibration, hydraulic and acoustic emission tests, met the design requirements, and also passed the ground hot fire test.
