Abstract:
Cryogenic safety valve is an automatic valve, which may form good sealing relying on its own spring force in the long-term ultralow temperature environment. However, its sealing material is inevitably deformed in the low temperature environment, which may make the valve to be prone to leakage. In order to solve the above problem, the sealing structure scheme is put forward in this article according to the design requirements of cryogenic safety valve. The ANSYS finite element software is used to conduct the numerical simulation and stress analysis for the structure scheme and cone seal structure of cryogenic safety valve. According to the research on the effect of the angle between the valve seat and sealing block, and sealing cone angle and seal pitch diameter on the contact stress and strength of the sealing block, the design specification of the sealing structure, Key dimensions and sealing materials selection specification of cryogenic safety valve were concluded. The cryogenic safety valves manufactured with the specification mentioned above passed through the normal atmospheric temperature and the cryogenic tests based on
