Abstract:
In order to set up the fluid model of the geUed propellants,the fluid characteristics of gelled propellant in the straight pipe were analyzed.The calculated pressure drop results of 3 type geHed propellant stimulants were compared through experiments.The comparison indicates:the pressure drop within the second fluid region Call be calculated by the equation educed from power law rheological equation of state.The loss in the third fluid region Can be calculated approximately by the Newtonian fluid pressure loss equation.The error diffusing coefficient was analyzed,the error diffusing coefficient of power law index and pipe diameter have the most important effect on pressure drop calculating value.
