Abstract:
Aiming at the special oxidizability of NTO,three different gellants were chosen which could form gel with NTO,and their rheologic properties were studied.By means of rocket motor test, restriction orifice test and fluid flow test of rocket engine head,the feasibilities that NTO gel could constitute gelled bipropellant with UDMH gel were testified.It shows that,single gel system call not meet the requirement of gelled propellant rocket engine design,however composite gel system has excellent theologic property of higll viscosity and low shearing strength can meet the requirement of gelled propellant of rocket engine.
