Abstract:
The development of jet break-up modeling and experiment was reviewed. The problems about modeling、experiment and application of jet break-up were discussed. It was the key of power-law fluid jet break-up modeling to discover the control process and main influencing factor according to the fuel chemistry configuration and chamber conditions. The experimental research depends on the photography technology of high resolusion and high speed. The research of modeling and experiment of jet break-up is helpful to reveal the jet break-up fundamental mechanisms, to analyze effect factors and enhance the design level of spray and cooling of combustion chambers.
