Abstract:
Isoparametric eight-node elements are adopted to gain parameterized modeling and finite element node generation. The FEA program was developed with FORTRAN language to analyze the vibration characteristics of the cyclic symmetry structure. The vibration characteristics of the pump impeller and the turbine impeller are analyzed, then the results are compared with that obtained by ANSYS software. It is proved that the FEA program provides with higher precision and stronger dependability, and can be used in engineering practice.
