Abstract:
Water hammer pressure model of liquid rocket engine was built. The numerical simulation and testing contrastive analysis were made. The factors that influence water hammer pressure of the liquid rocket engine were investigated. The pressure transient characteristic of the propellant pipes after shutdown of engine was discussed. The correctness of the numerical simulation was approved by the comparison of calculated data with experiment data. The research achievement can be used in the design and testing of liquid rocket engine.
