Abstract:
To evaluate reliability of the insensitive igniter used in upper stage expander-cycle engine of a new generation launch vehicle, according to high-intensity combustion time data obtained in igniter acceptance test and start-accelerating performance data got during the trial test of expander-cycle engine, the hypothesis testing method was used to prove that pressure-building time S and high-intensity combustion time r are both distributed as normal distribution, and the difference between S and r is also distributed as normal distribution. With stress-strength interference theory, the igniter reliability from calculation based on engine trial test time-sequence is 0.999 970. According to analysis and calculation in this paper, it is considered that the ignition ability of the accepted igniter is reliable, which
