Abstract:
The low-pressure casting process specifications of resin sand for outlet pipe mounted on ZL104 Al alloy turbopump were obtained based on the study of the theory and principle for low-pressure casting technology of resin sand as well as relevant process tests. ZL104 Al alloy turbopump outlet pipe manufactured with the above specifications has been used in the LOX/kerosene liquid rocket engine of CZ-5 and CZ-7 launch vehicles. CZ-5 and CZ-7 launch vehicles have passed flight tests, and their LOX/kerosene liquid rocket engines operates normally, which indicates that the resin sand low-pressure casting technology for the outlet pipe mounted on ZL104 Al alloy turbopump is reasonable, correct and effective.
